You Know Me !
1: How do we know you?
I met Patrick at some nightclub in the 1980s. Then again, if you remember the ‘80s club scene, then you weren’t there.
2: What is your latest project?
Blogging, tweeting, facebooking, and doing everything else imaginable to remain culturally relevant. But I still won’t go to the gym!
3: Where are you living?
Glamorous, upscale, yet wildly accessible Murray Hill.
4: What don’t we know about you?
That I’m actually a nice, decent fellow from Brooklyn.
5: What is your favorite travel destination?
6: What inspires you?
The sound of a bird chirping as the morning dew sprinkles a bevy of rose petals. Kidding. A really good safe word.
7: If not yourself, who would you be?
8: What book is your bible?
Not Since Carrie, Ken Mandelbaum’s book about the biggest Broadway musical bombs in history. (Carrie, of course, is the high/low watermark of them all.)
9: What is your favorite word?
“Gotcha.” (Uttered after I say “I’m on the list.”)
10: Who is your biggest hero?
11: How would you define success?
Achieving your own goals. If all you want to be is a nice, loving person who pays all their bills, then you’re a superstar.
12: What would the last question of this questionnaire be if you were the one asking?
“Gosh, aren’t you fabulous?”
Michael Musto is an author, columnist and commentator. He has been writing for the Village Voice since 1984, where his weekly celebrity and gossip column La Dolce Musto appears (and has been read religiously by the fabulous and the fashionable for decades now).
