1: Who am I?

2: What do you do and what project are you currently working on?
I produce, events and fashion shows, design sound, lighting and soundscapes for them. Runway at Exit Art is my focus right now, in it’s fourth season, it is a turn key Fashion Week Venue serving as an alternate site to the IMG tents at Lincoln Center since Februrary 2010. I am the creator, producer and project manger, overseeing every aspect of it. Some of the designers who’ve showed there include Simon Spurr, Robert Geller, Yigal Azrouel, Isaac Mizrahi, Ohne Tietel, Elise Overland, Ruffian, Michael Bastian and others…
My next project is the Food Bank of NYC Can Do Awards…
3: Where are you from and where are you going?
I grew up in Montreux, Switzerland with the world renowned Jazz Festival as my playground. Moved to New York in 1985. New York City, Fire Island and Key West is where I am and will be for now. Jamaica, Santa Lucia, Costa Rica or Tulum is where I’d like to be for the next snow storm.
4: Who is your biggest hero?
Bill Gates is prominent, not because of Microsoft, but because he accomplished what he did as a college drop-out and because of his philanthropy. Richard Branson is another, again accomplishing what he did with poor academic performance in school and a college drop out as well, and because of his love for life.
5: What book is your bible?
6: What are some things you love? And some things you hate?
Love a successful, creative end result.
Hate the business part of getting there.
Love French Onion soup.
Hate the tears that comes with peeling the onions.
Love Fire Island
Hate nothing there…
7: What is your raison d’etre?
My wife and kids, creativity, photography and visual art, music.
8: What is your favorite color?
9: Who is your favorite comic book superhero?
10: What is your favorite NYC hot spot?
11: What turns you on?
My wife and kids, creativity, photography and visual art, music. And Louboutins…
12: What would the last question of this questionnaire be if you were to ask it?
Q. If you could change one thing about NYC, what would it be?
A. re-establish the “do not cross 14th street” rule and go back the night club door policies that are based on who/what you are and not how many bottles you will buy. Ok, ok, that’s two things, but one of the same…
