Sid Neigum is a Canada-born, New York based experimentalist aiming to develop new silhouettes, shapes, ideas, and feelings through fashion design and other mediums. The brand’s raison d’être is to challenge convention and question tradition. Neigum expresses an idiosyncratic vision inspired by avant-garde club culture, street fashion, music, contemporary sculpture and architecture while maintaining a singularly dark esthetic.
His accomplishments include completing the Fashion Design and Apparel Production program at MC College, winning the Emerging Designer Award for the Spring 2010 season at Edmonton Fashion Week, completing an internship under designer Yigal Azrouel, and attending the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Since the launch of his career, Sid Neigum has participated in the most renowned fashion events across the country, including Western Canada Fashion Week (F/W 2010), The Montreal Art and Design festival (August 2010), Vancouver Fashion Week (S/S 2011) and most recently in Toronto at LG Fashion Week in March of 2011 (F/W 2011).
