SIX OF ONE: PRETTY OFFENSIVE
Six Quick Questions with One of My Favorite Artists
Live from Miami with Lori Zimmer
Pretty Offensive’s Stephanie Hague is a total over-achiever. By day, she works 50+ hours a week in advertising; by night she knits until her fingers are sore–on the subway, at bars, as she waits for her dinner to come at a restaurant. As she is a good friend of mine, we’ve all grown to not even notice as she busily knits the work “FUCK” under the table as we catch up on gossip. Pretty Offensive was born when Steph decided to she was going to learn to knit a boob, literally. She has since taught her self to knit and purl a bevy of sexy subjects, tit tops, penis shorts, pussy bikinis, and coffee cozies that say “FUCKING HOT.”
Her unabashed humor is debuting this year at Miami’s SCOPE Art Fair, with her very own booth. It’s been just a few hours, and the art elite are already talking about boobs in between sips of champagne.

Stephanie Hague: Penises and how to knit them perfectly.
