Who Am I ?
1: Who am I?
If Zoolander can ask this deep, soul-searching question and end up with a happy ending, that gives me hope.
Who am I? I am only human, but I do my best. I am a meticulous perfectionist when it comes to my work. I love organization. I am kind of super nerdy in that way
I am most alive when I am in motion.
2: What do you do and what project are you currently working on?
I am a photographer/photo editor, pseudo-web-designer, painter of silly things, and music lover. My website is my heart and soul, but I recently undertook a complete overhaul of it, and am now trying to update it and get all my photos in galleries via my Facebook page.
It’s a work in progress. I would very much like to segue into hosting a storefront of some sort, maybe on Etsy, of my photography/paintings/designs. All in good time.
3: Where are you from and where are you going?
South Korea with a few stops along the way, but my heart is all New York.
Where am I going? I’m saving all my two cents for an adventure in Paris and Copenhagen.
4: Who is your biggest hero?
Audrey Hepburn, Atticus Finch, Eleanor Roosevelt, or Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. It’s a toss up.
5: What book is your bible?
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Mr. Darcy is pure perfection and Mrs. Bennett is obnoxious lunacy. I try to live my life emulating the former and avoiding all tendencies of the latter!
6: What are some things you love? And some things you hate?
I love love. I hate hate.
I love sunshine, fluffy cotton clouds, Wowdy, the loves of my life, architecture (esp. Beaux-Arts/Second Empire and High Gothic), petit-fours, milk chocolate, honesty, selflessness, altruism, and cute things.
I hate lies, pollution, corruption, greed, selfishness, and my lack of patience for the things I hate.
7: What is your raison d’être?
8: What is your favorite color?
The color of happiness and the laughter of angels.
9: Who is your favorite comic book superhero?
In the comic book of my life, I would have to say my better half and wonderful significant other is my superhero. He handles everything with such ease and grace, even if only outwardly at times, which is completely inspiring and a kick in the pants for me. Our life can be absolutely absurd.
10: What is your favorite NYC hot spot?
Give me any stretch of sidewalk, my camera, a dear friend, or my iPod, and I’m in heaven. The city-street-heartbeat, I’ve come to call it. Anywhere in the city can be a rich, full, colorful, beautiful, life-changing experience if you’re willing to have your eyes and heart open.
11: What turns you on?
“Because the world is round…because the sky is blue, it makes me cry.”
12: What would the last question of this questionnaire be if you were the one asking?
What’s for dinner?
