Who Am I ?
1: Who am I?
I am Angelica Salem! I’m eighteen, living my dream as a pop music artist and loving every second of it!
2: What do you do and what project are you currently working on?
I am freshman at Pace University in NYC majoring in Commercial Dance. Also, I am working on my music career outside of school. I am writing and recording new music and am looking forward to what this year brings!
3: Where are you from and where are you going?
I am from Stamford, CT, and I am now lucky enough to be living my dream as an aspiring recording artist NYC! I hope I’m only going up from here with a successful music career, continuously doing what I love the most (singing, dancing, and performing) and completing my Bachelor degree in the performing arts.
4: Who is your biggest hero?
My parents are both my biggest heroes. I get such incredible support from so many places, but I’d be absolutely nothing without them.
5: What book is your bible?
I think the most influential book I’ve read has been The Help. Although it takes place in a different time period when society was a lot different, the core message illustrates that hard work and dedication can allow you to do whatever you set your mind to.
6: What are some things you love? And some things you hate?
I’m lucky enough to have incredible family and friends that I love more than anything in the world. I love music, singing, dancing, and performing. I also love giving back and helping others in need whenever I can, which can be seen throughout my charity work over the years. I launched a nonprofit called, Voice of an Angel, which helps financially struggling young people and families afford tuition, medical bills, and more. I love being able to do my part and lend a helping hand to those who are less fortunate.
Hate is a very strong word that I try to not use, but I hate when I think I haven’t tried my hardest. I always try to put forth my best effort and give everything my all.
7: What is your raison d’être?
I’d like to think that my reason for existence is to try and change the world as much as I can! I want to be an inspiration to others and I hope that my music and philanthropic work can have a positive affect on people. There are so many small ways that we can help people and help make our world a better place. I also love making music and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.
8: What is your favorite color?
My favorite color forever has always been pink! Big shocker.
9: Who is your favorite comic book superhero?
I was never really a huge fan of comic books but my favorite super hero would probably be Wonder Woman.
10: What is your favorite NYC hot spot?
I live right next to the South Street Seaport and I think that’s one of my most favorite places. I love being able to sit and look at the water. It’s a beautiful view and it’s always nice and relaxing when I need it to be!
11: What turns you on?
Intelligence and dedication. I love when people know what they want and what they’re doing! Intelligence and dedication are attractive qualities because it shows that you have a plan and aren’t just living life going through the motions. I like people who have goals, aspirations, and who put 100% into making their dreams a reality.
12: What would the last question of this questionnaire be if you were the one asking?
What would you do to help change the world, even if it only affects one person? Imagine if everyone could help just one person in need.
