Who Am I ?

April 2012

1: Who am I?

I’m Jarrett Edward, a professional human being.

2: What do you do and what project are you currently working on?

I currently publish a fashion blog called DingyDisco.com. The site focuses on avant-garde fashion mixed with personal, as well as street style. I use the website as a means to explore experimental fashion and develop my personal style and communicate it to the world.

3: Where are you from and where are you going?

I’m originally from a small town outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but I’m going to infinity and beyond!

4: Who is your biggest hero?

I have a variety of heroes and people inspire me, but I find myself looking into my past for inspiration and guidance.

5: What book is your bible?

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

6: What are some things you love? And some things you hate?

Love: zombies, Jeremy Scott, early 2000s pop songs, vintage Versace, platform shoes, house music, the cyberworld, supermodels, colored fur, Soul Train, milkshakes, neck kisses, neon shoe laces, fresh flowers, rave princesses, leather, great hats, and colored hair.

Hate: Hangovers, waking up early, delayed flights, and repetition.

7: What is your raison d’être?

Cameras and the internet.

8: What is your favorite color?

9: Who is your favorite comic book superhero?

Professor Xavier from the X-Men series.

10: What is your favorite NYC hot spot?

I’ve been spending a lot of time at Southside recently. It’s glamourous, secretive, and foggy.

11: What turns you on?

Perfectly tailored garments, great parties, and Zac Weiss.

12: What would the last question of this questionnaire be if you were the one asking?

Won’t you take me to Funkytown?
