July /August 2012

1: Who am I?

I am loving, fearless, fearful, fun, funny, cute, hardworking, ambitious, and caring. I am a friend, a loyalist, a fashionista, an emotional basket case on the inside, a forward thinker, a procrastinator, an artist, an over eater, and an over achiever.

2: What do you do and what project are you currently working on?

I am a celebrity stylist and a media personality. I just finished up a national swim tour, where I appeared on several American morning shows. Fashion Week is a few weeks away, and we are continuing with our Real Fashion Real Women program, but this year we have expanded it dramatically. We will kick it off with six-show tour on morning shows around the country, then host a two day style suite, and end with the Real Fashion Real Women runway show, which will feature real women from Bottomless Closet walking the runway alongside five real celebrity women.

3: Where are you from and where are you going?

I grew up in the mountains of New Hampshire. I have been very open about the perils of my childhood. As I grew up mentally abused, bullied, and homeless, I have learned to be a survivor. It has strengthened me to the point where I can handle everything that comes my way. Having experienced discomfort as a way of life, I know the drive it is necessary to have to become successful. My life dream is to be an international brand and a household name. I want a big family with children, and I want a partner to share my life with.

4: Who is your biggest hero?

Anyone that is a survivor. I love people who have come from nothing and have built their lives and fortunes from scratch. I have friends who had nothing at 45 years old, and then 20 years later are hugely successful financially, and happily married with happy families. I love those kinds of stories!

5: What book is your bible?

I dont really have a bible per se; I love historic novels and stories that are inspiring. I am obsessed with any and all Elizabethan novels.  I love books filled with tales of trials and tribulations.

6: What are some things you love? And some things you hate?

I love being able to do the work that I love. I have always wanted to be an artist of some sort. My grandmother was an illustrator, my other grandmother was a painter, my mother painted, and I was so afraid that I wouldn’t be artistic. Then, of course, I found my calling. One thing that I hate is the perceived hierarchy of society. People think that they are better than others because they have low self esteem. I hate that. Be who you are and love it! I try not to care about what others think all the time. No one person is better than than another.

7: What is your raison d’être?

To build my dreams. I get up every morning to better build my life, and I surround myself with people who believe in and support that dream.

8: What is your favorite color?

I don’t have a favorite color. I like to live in teals, fuchsias, and plums. I like to wear neutrals, navies, and whites. I love to see people in head to toe black, but that is just not my personality.

9: Who is your favorite comic book superhero?

Jem and the Holograms.

10: What is your favorite NYC hot spot?

Duane Park in Tribeca. I love the 1950′s burlesque style.

11: What turns you on?

Confidence, amazing women, and strong, handsome men.

12: What would the last question of this questionnaire be if you were the one asking?

What has been the most important moment in your life so far?
