1: Who am I?
I am Jaiyeola Adeboye Oluwadamilare, a Nigerian born pop-art, textile, and graphic artist.
2: What do you do and what project are you currently working on?
I make works of pop-art of famous people in my country and beyond. I am into home design, decor, and corporate signage. I also have a clothing and textile line that makes t-shirts and tie dye fabrics. I am presently working on the home design and branding of a country home in southwest Nigeria.
3: Where are you from and where are you going?
I am from Aato, Osun, Nigeria. I was born in, and grew up in, Ibadan, the largest west African city. I studied home science and management with a major in textile design at the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta Nigeria. I have been doing pop-art for almost two years now and the acceptance here makes me so happy. I’m breaking new grounds soon.
4: Who is your biggest hero?
I don’t have one, but Marc Ecko, Christian Audigier, Nigo, and Tuface Idibia inspire me. I love Marco Santaniello’s works and he actually inspired me to do pop-art.
5: What book is your bible?
I don’t have a favorite book, but I read a lot of books about entrepreneurship and management. I also read novels at times. The last book I read was An Image of Africa by Chinua Achebe.
6: What are some things you love? And some things you hate?
I love my family, a quiet surrounding (it helps to think), and to hang out with friends. I hate backstabbers and liars.
7: What is your raison d’être?
To make the myself the best possible version of me and to touch the lives of others.
8: What is your favorite color?
9: Who is your favorite comic book superhero?
I loved Papa Ajasco when I was growing up.
10: What is your favorite NYC hot spot?
I have not been there yet but I hear the Palm Restaurant is great.
11: What turns you on?
A quiet environment.

What does life mean to you?
A textile, pop-art, and graphic artist, Boye also does home design, decor creation, and corporate signage. He has worked with a couple of magazine company in Lagos, Nigeria, where he exhibited his creative abilities in various areas. His yet to be released celebrity pop-art collection has been getting a lot of love and popularity through Facebook, Twitter and his website. Boye graduated from FUNAAB Nigeria with a degree in textile design. He spends most of his time designing, experimenting with t-shits, adire (tie-dye), and batik (painting). He also loves to hang out with his friends.
