Who Am I ?
1: Who am I?
2: What do you do and what project are you currently working on?
I am a singer-songwriter. I perform around the city, mostly at The Bitter End. I actually have a show coming up there on November 4th. I jam with whoever I can whenever I can. I’m currently in the studio working on putting together an EP. Oh, and I’m also a high school senior in the process of applying to college.
3: Where are you from and where are you going?
I was born in New York City and I’m lucky enough to have lived here my whole life. The city is electric and has a unique energy. Hopefully I’m not going anywhere too soon because I’m exactly where I need to be to do what I love.
4: Who is your biggest hero?
My favorite fictional heroes are Thelma and Louise. Who wouldn’t want to run from the law while holding misogynistic cops at gunpoint and breaking gender stereotypes all while wearing the perfect Harley Davidson t-shirt? My non-fictional hero is Gloria Steinem. No explanation necessary.
5: What book is your bible?
I was raised by Meg Cabot’s Mia Thermopolis. No seriously, she taught me everything from what to take when you have period cramps to linear algebra. We are the same person except that she is the heir to a small principality.
6: What are some things you love? And some things you hate?
I love Lana Del Rey and Sky Ferreira. I also love bubble tea, the movie Clueless, mermaids, and busking at random. I hate standardized testing, people who are too nice, cauliflower, and Rush Limbaugh.
7: What is your raison d’être?
I collect words and phrases and seek satisfaction by putting them together in a way that people can respond and connect to. You should see the notes on my phone, they are the most random collection of thoughts ever. But I love it.
8: What is your favorite color?
9: Who is your favorite comic book superhero?
I’m not really into comics, but my favorite superhero is Barack Obama.
10: What is your favorite NYC hot spot?
Bar Pitti makes my mouth water. Also Washington Square Park if you want to bear witness to amazing undiscovered talent.
11: What turns you on?
Great minds and a shirtless Ian Somerhalder.
12: What would the last question of this questionnaire be if you were the one asking?
Marry Fuck Kill: Mitt Romney, Tyler the Creator, Holden Caulfield?
