You Know Me !

Fall 2012

1: How do we know you?

Patrick has known me and photographed me at endless art and fashion events for years; he kindly photographed my solo exhibit at Fashion Institute of Technology. We met at Studio 54 and downtown clubs eons ago.

2: What is your latest project?

I am very excited about the publication of my second photo book: Incomparable Women of Style (published by ACC). It was launched in the USA this month, and will be launched in Europe in November. I am thrilled that Vanity Fair, Elle, Italian Vogue, Latin American Vogue, Dutch Vogue, and other international publications will feature images from my book, and in some cases, interviews as well. Needless to say, I do hope your readers will order my book by emailing the publisher at:

3: Where are you living?

I am a born and bred New Yorker who has traveled the world–from St. Petersburg to St. Barts (often as a guest of Tourist boards).

4: What don’t we know about you?

That I am extremely sensitive to harsh words.

5: What is your favorite travel destination?

Kashmir, India (when it was safe to visit).

6: What inspires you?

Talented people who have lived their dream.

7: If not yourself, who would you be?

A 5’ 8” sylph.

8: What book is your bible?

Louise L. Hay’s You Can Heal Your Life is a valued book.

9: What is your favorite word?

10: Who is your biggest hero?

Gloria Steinem.

11: How would you define success?

Achieving your goals, and having fulfilling relationships.

12: What would the last question of this questionnaire be if you were the one asking?

What makes you happy? Visiting a new city–or enjoying dinner with special friends, swimming in the sea…
